About Us

The Southeast Asia Toy Association is a multi-stakeholder coalition of toy industry players in Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos.

SEATA began informally in 2010 as a coalition of responsible toy manufacturers and has since grown to include and work alongside toy companies of all sizes, local industry associations, and various other stakeholders in Southeast Asian markets.

In 2016, SEATA was officially formalized as a non-profit company (limited by guarantee) registered in Singapore and has continued to serve as a preeminent regional vehicle for stakeholder engagement on issues related to toy safety, standards, harmonization, and trade.
